Jake joined the college in 2011 as our Assistant Director Client Services. He has extended his responsibilities systems administration. He earned his BS in Agricultural Business and Animal Sciences (Double Major) from Colorado State University.Prior to this, Jake worked as help desk and telecommunications support in Colorado and California.
Tyson joined Colorado State University in 2013 as an IT Technician for the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. After finding a passion for helping Researchers with their IT needs, he came to the College of Agricultural Sciences in 2018 to continue his work with supporting Researchers. He has earned a BS in Information and Computer Science from the University of California, Irvine in 2005. Prior to CSU, Tyson worked at Geek Squad in California and Colorado for 10 years and held various roles up to and including Geek Squad District Manager.
Larry joined the college as a student in 1995 and full time in 2000 as the computer lab manager, network and systems administrator. He graduated from Colorado State University in 1999 with a B.S. in Computer Sciences and also has an A.A.S. in Electronic Engineering (1980). He is currently working towards a Masters Degree in Computer Information Systems at CSU’s College of Business.
Prior to working at Colorado State, Larry worked at Woodward Governor for 12 years including designing specialized test equipment and in their steam turbine applications in power generation. He helped repair the diesel back-up generators at Palo Verde Nuclear station and retrofit Los Alamos National Labs steam turbine generators.
Larry loves to program in C++, C#, C, Java, PHP, Perl, PowerShell and SQL (MS SQL, MySQL Oracle). He also likes to ride his Harley-Davidson motorcycle and ATV, fly fishing, archery, kayaking, camping/RV’ing and hunting (Archery & Rifle). He is an avid turkey hunter and passed this passion/curse on to his step-father after he retired. He also likes to game on his PC and Xbox.
Mike joined the college in 2013 as Assistant Director of IT for Instructional Technology and Design. Prior to this he worked in the fields of civil engineering, technology and education, with roles varying from engineering designer and web developer to secondary and postsecondary instructor. He earned his BS in Digital Media from East Tennessee State University and a M. Ed. in Educational Technology from James Madison University.”
Ed is the director, systems administrator and website administrator. He joined the college in 1994 as the computer applications instructor. Prior to his arrival, he served as an Army officer with a unit artillery command in Germany, NATO Force advisory role in Greece and later as an Intelligence Officer – SW Asia region. He earned a Bachelors degree in Finance from Northern Illinois University, Masters degree in Russian and Eastern European Studies from Indiana University, Masters degree in Computer Information Systems from the College of Business, Colorado State University and a Ph.D. in Public Communications and Technology from the Department of Journalism and Media Communications at Colorado State University.
