Speaker: William E. Mosher, Chair, Colorado State University Board of Governors
William E. Mosher is the Senior Managing Director of Trammell Crow Company, a nationally recognized leader in real estate development and investment activities. Governor Mosher also serves as the CEO of the Denver Convention Center Hotel Authority, the non-profit corporation that financed and constructed and the current owner of the Hyatt Convention Center Hotel.
Governor Mosher formed the Mosher Sullivan Development Partners in 2003 and previously served as the President of the Downtown Denver Partnership. He holds a Master of Science in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Arizona. Among his numerous professional affiliations/community involvement activities, Governor Mosher served as a Board Member and Past Chair for the Board of the Denver Housing Authority; the Chairman of the 2006 Bond Committee & Oversight Committee for the Denver Public Schools; and the Colorado District Council Chair for the Urban Land Institute.

Congratulations Spring 2017 College of Agricultural Sciences Graduates!
Bachelor’s degree candidates who will be participating in the Commencement ceremony must stop by the Dean’s office by noon on Friday, May 12 to complete their name cards and an employment survey. The date the information cards will be available will be sent to students later in the semester. See Processional below for more details.
REGALIA ORDERS AND DISTRIBUTION
Students who did not order regalia (cap, gown, and tassel) before the April 5 deadline still have the opportunity to purchase a Grad Pack through the Alumni Association. If you are not interested in ordering a Grad Pack, students may purchase Bachelors regalia for $25.75 and Masters/Doctorate regalia for $48.25 (CASH ONLY) at Cap and Gown Distribution.

Additionally, regalia may be picked up one hour prior to their ceremony beginning Friday at their ceremony site, until 10 a.m. Sunday, May 14. No regalia, student or faculty, may be picked up after 10 a.m. Sunday, May 14.
Return of regalia will be immediately after the ceremony to Moby C-Wing. Please note that there may be a charge for late returns. Any late returns should be sent directly to:

Graduates receive a diploma cover at Commencement. The actual diplomas will be mailed to graduates six to eight weeks after commencement. For those unable to attend the ceremonies, diploma covers are available in the Registrar’s Office (at no charge). Diploma covers can be mailed by calling 491-7159; the postage cost is $5.00 per cover for U.S. mailings.
ANNOUNCEMENTS AND CLASS RING SALES
Representatives from CB Grad Announcements (announcements) and Josten’s (class rings) will be present on February 14, 15, and 16 in the Lory Student Center Flea Market area (outside the University Bookstore) to take advanced, customized orders. The Grad Fair will be held February 15, 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. in the LSC Flea Market area. After February 16, announcement orders may be placed at www.cbgrad.com or by calling 800-433-0296. Customized orders are returned within seven days of being ordered.
Generic announcements (non-personalized announcements) may be purchased at the University Bookstore at any time.

Tickets are not needed for families and guests, nor are the number of invitees limited. Special seating for those using wheelchairs is available; those with limited mobility should arrive early to obtain reserved seating. Sign language interpreters will be present at the ceremony.
The Spring 2017 Commencement Ceremony for the College of Agricultural Sciences will be held in Moby Arena.
Spring 2017 commencement ceremonies are at two venues—Lory Student Center and Moby Arena. Please use the guidelines below to suggest parking options for families and guests. Construction on campus will impact available parking. For the most up to date announcements regarding parking and construction impact please check the CSU construction updates website.
Friday before 4 p.m.
FREE PARKING is available in Moby Arena Lot 195 (grid location A – 6 on the CSU Campus Parking Map) or in Lot 240 (grid location E-11 on the CSU Campus Parking Map). A free shuttle, “Around the Horn,” travels to the Lory Student Center every 10 minutes from the Moby Arena lot.
There is paid parking in the pay-by-plate spaces in Lot 310, which is located north of the Lory Student Center. See grid location I – 5 on the CSU Campus Parking Map. The pay-by-plate spaces are located in the west half of Lot 310 (colored orange with a picture of a clock on the parking map). There are also pay-by-plate spaces in Lot 425, which is located due west of the Morgan Library (grid location H – 8.5 on the campus map). The pay-by-plate spaces are located in the south half of Lot 425 (colored orange with a picture of a clock on the parking map). Meter rates are $1.25 an hour.

FREE PARKING is available in all lots mentioned above, as Saturday is not a regular university business day.

Alcoholic beverages, inappropriate substances or objects are not in keeping with the dignified nature of our commencement ceremony, are not permitted, and will be confiscated. Uniformed police officers will be in attendance. In accord with commencement policies, you may be requested to open robes, purses, etc., for inspection. This ceremony is the capstone of the academic experience for you, other students, and your family and friends. We appreciate your consideration for the rights of others to enjoy the ceremony free from disruptive or otherwise inappropriate behavior.
- Please meet in the the Moby Auxiliary Gym. Allow adequate time for traffic, parking, etc.
- When you get to the line-up area, pick up your name card. If you have not already stopped by the Dean’s office to do so, you will need to fill out the back with your mailing and e-mail address only if you wish to receive photo proofs from Grad Images graduation photos.*
- You will need to proofread your card to ensure your major, any concentrations, minors, second majors, etc. are listed correctly, as this is what the Announcer will be reading for you as you walk across the stage.*
- Write the name of your home town on the card as you would like it to be announced.*
- Once you have picked up, filled out, and proofed your card, you will need to complete the Career Services survey if you have not already done so.*
- Assemble behind your department sign, and follow instructions for line-up given by Department Marshals, who will be wearing yellow stoles. Honors and Distinction (cum laudes) candidates will line up first, followed by the rest of the majors in the department in no particular order.
*A representative from the Dean’s office will send an email to all seniors when the name cards have arrived for proofing. To make sure you get the email, please be sure your contact information is up to date in RamWeb!!
The ceremony will begin promptly at 11:30 AM and will last approximately 1 ½ hours.
There will be a formal recessional. Please watch your Department Marshal for guidance.

College of Ag Sciences Graduate Students – Master of Ag, Master of Science, and PhD. candidates – are welcome to participate in both the College of Ag’s commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 13 and the Graduate School’s ceremony on Friday, May 12. Hooding will only take place at the Graduate School Ceremony.
